National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Subsidy for Hosting for International Academic Conferences in Taiwan (Second Round, 2025)
Applications will be accepted starting from September 1, 2025. Our university will accept applications until September 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

一、國科會為增進我國與國際學術界之交流，以提高我國科技水準及國際學術地位，特別訂定補助國內舉辦國際學術研討會作業要點。
二、申請期限：114年9月1日起至114年9月29日下午16：00止。（已經預留後續校內行政作業時間，請會議主辦人提早作業）
三、補助會議期間：須為114年10月1日至116年3月31日期間舉行者。
四、申請方式：
(一)申請人請至國科會首頁之「學術研發服務網」之「補助國內舉辦國際學術研討會」專區，線上申請並繳交送出。
(二)送出後請通知所屬學系所協助線上確認送出。
(三)並Email通知研發處計管組蘇暐珍小姐(weicsu@mx.nthu.edu.tw) ，以利研發處後續協助將申請件彙整送出。
五、其它注意事項：
(一)授權主辦或合辦之國際性學術組織須經國科會認可，且至少應有兩個國家或地區（不含中國大陸、香港及澳門）之外籍專家學者來臺參與研討會。
(二)研討會之籌辦及國內學界參與層面應具有全國性，且須公開徵求論文或邀請發表論文。
(三)為支持女性科研人員參加國際學術研討會，及落實身心障礙者權利公約（CRPD）所揭示之合理調整精神，申請案得依實際需求提列托兒服務或無障礙措施經費。

National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Subsidy for Hosting for International Academic Conferences in Taiwan (Second Round, 2025)
1. Purpose
To strengthen academic exchange between Taiwan and the international community, enhance the nation's scientific standards, and elevate Taiwan's international academic standing, the NSTC has established the “Operation Directions for NSTC Subsidy for Hosting International Academic Conferences Domestically”
2. Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted between September 1, 2025, and September 29, 2025, by 4:00 PM.
(Note: The internal deadline of September 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM has been set to allow for university-level administrative processing. Conference organizers are advised to submit their materials early.)
3. Conference Period
Conferences must be held between October 1, 2025, and March 31, 2027.
4. Application Procedures
(1) Applicants must apply online through the “Academic Research Service Portal 學術研發服務網” on the NSTC website, under the section titled “Subsidy for Hosting for International Academic Conferences in Taiwan 國內舉辦國際學術研討會.”

(2) After submission, please notify your department or institute to confirm that the online submission has been received.
(3) Please also notify Ms. Wei-Chen Su at the Office of R&D, NTHU, by email (weicsu@mx.nthu.edu.tw) for further assistance with the university's internal submission process.
5. Other Important Notes
(1) The authorized or co-organizing international academic organization must be recognized by the NSTC. At least two foreign scholars from different countries or regions (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau) must attend the conference in Taiwan.
(2) The conference must involve national-level participation, with significant engagement from the domestic academic community. It should also include an open call for papers or invitations to present.
(3) To support female researchers and ensure reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), applicants may include expenses for childcare services or accessibility measures, if needed.

7. Expected Announcement of Results
December 24, 2025 (Wednesday). Results will be announced via official letter. Extensions may be granted if necessary. Appeals will not be accepted for unsuccessful applications.
