2023年起台達設置「台達年輕學者科技講座」，提供傑出的年輕學者實質的獎勵與未來長期合作的機會，將企業能量與資源挹注於學術界，為創新與菁英研究人才之陶鑄盡一份心力。

2023申請時間：2023年 8 月 14 日起 至 2023 年 9 月 28 日止。（以申請人完成網路申請所顯示之時間為準）

申請領域：電力電子、電力系統、電動車、機器人、智慧製造

申請資格：申請人於每年申請截止日9月28日計算年齡於49歲（含）以下，且申請時為國內公私立大專校院編制內之專任助理教授以上或相當資格之人員。

獎勵方式：
 
  • 每名得獎者之每年獎勵金額為新台幣100萬元。
  • 獎勵以三年為一期，得獎者最多以獲頒兩期為限。
  • 獎勵期程自得獎名單公布之次年一月一日起算。

遴選方式：
 
  • 台達電子邀請知名學者擔任外部遴選委員偕同五大領域主委組成本講座遴選委員會。
  • 申請暨遴選作業由遴選委員會受理執行，每年每領域各遴選一名，共計五名學者，單一領域如無適當人選，該領域得從缺。
  • 遴選委員會審查基準：
     (1) 學術表現（權重 40%）。
     (2) 研究前瞻性（權重 30%）。
     (3) 未來與台達電子合作研發潛力（權重 30%）。
  • 經遴選委員會決議核准後於申請當年十一月公布得獎名單，並擇日舉辦頒獎儀式公開表彰。

2023, Delta Group has established the "Delta Young Technology Scholar Award" to provide substantial recognition and opportunities for long-term collaboration to outstanding young scholars. Through this award, Delta Group aims to inject corporate energy and resources into academia, while dedicating efforts to foster innovation and cultivate elite research talents.

Fields of Application
Power Electronics, Power Systems, Electric Vehicles, Robotics, Smart Manufacturing

Eligibility for Application
The applicant must be 49 years old or younger (inclusive) as of the annual application deadline, September 28, and currently hold the position of full-time assistant professor or above, or possess equivalent qualifications, within domestic public or private universities or colleges.

Award Scheme
The annual award amount for each winner is NT$1 million New Taiwan Dollars.

The awards are given in three-year cycles, and each winner can be awarded up to two cycles.
The award period begins on January 1st of the following year after the announcement of the list of winners.

Selection Process
Delta Group invites renowned scholars to serve as external selection committee members, along with the five chief commissioners of each field, to form the Award Selection Committee.
The application and selection process will be handled by the Selection Committee. Each year, one scholar will be selected from each field, for a total of five scholars. If there is no suitable candidate in a particular field, that field may remain vacant.
Criteria for the Selection Committee's evaluation:
 (1) Academic performance (40% weight).
 (2) Research foresight (30% weight).
 (3) Potential for future collaboration and research with Delta Electronics (30% weight).
The list of winners will be announced in November of the application year after approval by the Selection Committee. An award ceremony will be held on a chosen date for public recognition.
