Call for Proposals: TSRI–CTU Joint Research Projects for 2027
**Semiconductor research teams are cordially invited to apply!**
**1. Background and Objectives**
Since 2025, the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI) and Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) have established a Joint Research Center and promoted bilateral research collaboration, achieving promising results to date. To build on this foundation and further strengthen exchanges between the two institutions, the joint research program will continue in 2026 with a call for bilateral collaborative research proposals for 2027. Through academic collaboration and TSRI’s research service platforms, the program aims to establish long-term, stable partnerships between research teams and promote the sharing of research resources and complementary strengths between Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
**2. Eligibility and Principal Investigators**
Each participating team must consist of one professor from a Taiwanese university or college and one professor from CTU, who will jointly serve as the principal investigators (PIs). Both parties must collaborate on the same research topic. The Taiwanese PI must submit the research proposal by the specified deadline for subsequent evaluation and selection.
**3. Research Areas**
**(1) Chip Design**
- Analog Design
- Digital Design
