Funding Application Announcement：
National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Funding for Holding International Academic Conferences in Taiwan, R.O.C.
(2023 second time)
1. Deadline for submission/ application：12:00 noon, October 2, 2023
2. Dates of holding conferences：After October 1, 2023 (including all year round in 2024)
3. Application procedures：
(1) Applications must be completed online using the ”Academic Research Service Portal” on the homepage of National Science and Technology Council. https://www.nstc.gov.tw/?l=en
(2) After submission, please inform Ms. Huei-Mei Lan at Office of R&D, NTHU.

(1) To avoid the situation of network congestion, please apply in your early convenience. If you need support of network operation, please contact system maintenance engineers.

6. Supplementary requirements：
(1) In the same application submitted to more than 2 agencies for funding, applicants are requested to list the full amount of budget, items and amount of budget to various agencies respectively.
(2) For those experts or scholars invited to participate in international academic conferences, applicants can not apply for additional NSTC Funding for International Technology Professionals for Short-term Visit.
(3) To encourage to hold large-scale international academic conferences with international academic organizations, applicants are requested to fill in the numbers of foreign scholars and countries (at least 3 countries including Taiwan, R.O.C., but China, Hong Kong and Macao are not included). For applications not getting the funding, applicants can not appeal.
(4) For applications getting the funding, applicants are requested to disclose "Sponsored by National Science and Technology Council " on the spots of conferences and printed materials (such as posters, essays, notices, manuals).
(5) Applicants can apply for funding for virtual online conferences. Participants who participate in virtual online conference are deemed to attend the conference in person.
